Food technology school trips to Sicily

Usually included upon arrival in Sicily, this is an excellent way to provide your students with an introduction to Sicilian flavours and food.

Learn the intricacies of a Sicilian pizza in this pizza-making workshop, where your students will head to a local pizzeria and see first-hand how the locals make it. Students will learn everything from making the perfect pizza base to topping it with their own favourite ingredients, before finally getting to taste the products of their imaginations.

Groups will visit an orange plantation on this excursion, where they can observe the differences between Sicilian oranges (which tend to be darker orange with a red pulp) and the ones in the supermarkets at home. Here, they'll be guided around the plantation, learn about production techniques, and even have the chance to taste the different types of oranges.
