Our history
We’ve been taking young people around the world since 1933. That’s how we became the best at what we do. Since then, we’ve delivered countless unforgettable educational tours, music and performing arts experiences, ski trips and sports tours to millions of students.
We rebranded our business in 2014, merging Equity with our sister companies School Travel Service (STS), Pavilion Tours, UK Connection and SkiPlan. Our rebrand was more than just a new logo; it was also a commitment to enhance the lives of young people through experiences that inspire.

1950 School Travel Service (STS) start to take schools on ski trips
1998 SkiPlan founded, offering quality and affordable ski trips to schools across the UK
1999 SkiPlan welcomes group to their flagship ClubHotel, the Beausoileil in Alpe d’Huez
2005 Equity Travel & Equity Ski joins STS
2005 Sloping Off & Pavilion Tours join STS
2014 The brand architecture is simplified to make all our expertise available under a single name, Equity.

Equity is a specialist provider of group tours for schools, colleges and other institutions, covering a range of curriculum subjects, ski trips, and sports tours.
Since 1933, we've been broadening students’ horizons and helping them develop an active interest in their school subjects, while learning about other cultures and discovering new places.
