We’ve got the experience

From local contacts to health and safety issues, our extensive experience in the business gives us a huge advantage. This means we can help you with whatever you are looking for, from reassurance for parents to building specially tailored packages. Let us know what you’re after, and we’ll put together something unique – just for you.

Safety is our number one concern

At Equity, safety is at the forefront of what we do. As school tour and school ski specialists, we conduct thorough risk assessments of our resorts and hotels, which are hand-selected because of their suitability for school groups. Our accreditations, including our assurance from the School Travel Forum, enable you as a teacher to rest assured that our goal is always to “achieve the high health and safety standards governing residential and overseas school trips”.

We live by a simple principle: “Make it fun but make it safe”. Perhaps one reason why almost half a million young people have travelled with Equity.

We provide a 24/7 emergency contact

We do as much as we can to ensure your trip goes to plan, but should you need to contact us while away on your trip, a duty manager will be available to you for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They will have full details of your tour and be able to deal quickly and effectively with any problems you might have.

All our tours include financial protection

The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 state that we must provide security for the money that you have paid for school trips booked with us. We do this through a bond held by the Civil Aviation Authority under ATOL number 2680. We are also a member of ABTA, number V5376. You can read more about our financial protection and quality assurance here.

We prioritise safeguarding

Equity has a Safeguarding Policy and Procedure to help you understand how we look after the wellbeing of children and young people on our trips. It explains what our responsibilities are, our principles in enacting our policy and how you can report any incident to our designated safeguarding officers. For more information, visit our safeguarding page.

We hope the information above answers all your questions about booking with Equity. If you have any further queries, please get in touch with our expert team by contacting us online, or calling us on 01273 648 248.
