Venice Full Day Trip Coaching from Lake Garda

Why not add a visit to Venice on your Lake Garda travels? A beautiful city set on a maze of winding canals, Venice has plenty for your students to discover from art galleries and museums to monuments and bridges. Take your students on a gondola ride, enjoy a mask decorating workshop, and explore this wonderful city, known as the birthplace of many amazing musicians and artists.

Mask Decorating Workshop

A time-honoured tradition in Venice, mask decorating dates back to the 14th century, when it was commonplace for an individual to conceal their identity and class at the city’s social events. Today, Venetian masks are more ornamental and worn at carnivals. At this workshop, students will learn how original masks were made, and how to decorate their own.

Gondola Ride

There’s no better way to explore the city than on a relaxing gondola ride – and we think your students will agree. Climb aboard a classic Venetian gondola and discover the true beauty of Venice, as you and your students make your way through the hidden passageways and historic canals of this spectacular city. During your tour, your gondolier  will point out the city’s most photographed sights, including Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace.

Verona Full Day Trip Coaching

Step into the setting of Romeo and Juliet with a trip to Verona, which is well-known as one of Italy’s most romantic cities. Spot the balcony that Romeo serenaded his love at Juliet’s House, visit the Basilica di San Zeno where the two married, and even seek out the San Francesco al Corso church, where Shakespeare set Juliet’s tomb. A must-visit for English students.

Verona Opera

In the early 19th century, famous Veronese tenor Giovanni Zenatello sang an opera aria in the 2,000-year-old Arena for a few friends who had gathered there by chance. After realising how good the acoustics were, they decided to perform a real opera – a tradition that is now continued during the months of July and August, you and your students could watch a spectacular opera staged within this incredible Roman amphitheatre.
