Great snow is guaranteed thanks to this resort’s high altitude. An ‘upside-down resort’, Les Deux Alpes has undergone a huge investment to offer lower level skiers better accessibility from the resort, with more blue and green runs trailing down to the village. Les Deux Alpes also gives beginners the unique opportunity to ski on a glacier once they’ve mastered the nursery slopes nearer to town, with gentler blues at altitude.

Intermediates have the choice of mid-level reds and a sweeping 12km blue to build their stamina on, while your most experienced skiers can show off their skills on the range of blacks that lead to the villages. Not for the faint-hearted are the ‘Super Diable’, a long steep black run, a unique snow-park and a half-pipe. For anyone with jelly legs, there’s an easy green or the option to take a cable-car at the end of the day.

Instructors. A mixed group of ski or snowboarders and/or mixed abilities will impact the number of instructors required for your group and the price
Air passenger duty. Any paying passengers over the age of 16 at the time of travel will be charged a small tax fee
