School ski trips to Tignes
Home to some of Europe’s highest slopes, Tignes shares its ski area with neighbouring Val d’Isere, offering huge mileage for visitors and exceptional snow cover. In a seven-minute funicular ride, students can reach the incredible Grande Motte glacier, or opt to enjoy the shops, restaurants and sports centre spread across five villages in the region. Attracting everyone from first-timers to professional freeriders, Tignes is a great place for any school group to visit.

Features
Combining the ski areas of Tignes and Val d’Isère, the full lift pass offers over 300km of piste – making this big-name ski area a fantastic choice for school groups. With a handful of green runs and a good range of blues, most are content with the local slopes, while the all-areas pass – included in your trip – means more choice for improvers.
Tignes and Val d’Isère comes into its own when beneath the skis of intermediates, who can whizz down the reds, tackle rugged blacks and ski into Val d’Isere via the 1992 Olympic downhill. The exposed slopes add extra challenge when the weather closes in, but the panoramas on clear days promise big grins and great photos.
