A little-known gem on the Italian border, Nassfeld has a long list of credentials: the largest resort in Carinthia province, the Alps' longest cable car (the Millennium Express), and its north-facing, high altitude slopes – meaning superb snow coverage throughout the season. The resort enjoys a reputation as one of the largest, most attractive and snowy ski areas in Austria, yet it is still remarkably quiet – allowing your students plenty of space and time to perfect their technique.

Features

Expect broad smiles from the beginners in your group as they steady their nerves on the wide and shallow nursery slopes at Sonnleiten ski village. There’s more than enough piste for intermediates to perfect their skills too, with a huge range of red runs traversing the mountainsides, sweeping down the ridges and funnelling through the tree-lined gorges.

Full of fun, the ski area at Nassfeld is riddled with surprises, such as designated photo spots providing memory snapshots of your trip. When your students are ready to progress to the next level, they’ll also find a decent range of challenging runs for them to conquer their fears on within the wider ski area.
