Excursions

Day trip/ Excursion in Paris
Enjoy a fabulous day in Paris. Climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower, admire the views of Paris from the River Seine or discover the Louvre’s masterpieces.

Cite des Sciences
The biggest science museum in Europe, this is a fantastic place to spend a day with your students. The museum is brimming with interactive learning opportunities, covering themes from the body and communication to water games, the garden and the factory. There’s also a planetarium, a submarine and an IMAX theatre to maximise excitement within your group.

Eiffel Tower & Trocadero at Leisure
Visit the site of Paris's most famous landmark and the symbol of France – the Eiffel Tower. Built in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel, this engineering masterpiece dazzles at night, rightly earning its place at the centre of the ‘City of Lights’. We also recommend taking some time to explore the nearby Trocadero Gardens and its famous Fountain of Warsaw.

Fragonard Perfumery
Offering students a unique olfactory journey in the very heart of Paris, the historic location of Théâtre-Musée des Capucines flows with the spirit and character that classic perfumer Fragonard wanted to preserve. Incredibly, the museum is home to a collection of ancient artifacts, archives and perfume bottles that illustrate 3,000 years of perfume making.

Centre Pompidou
Located in one of the oldest quarters of Paris, this towering modern structure of pipes and staircases houses a number of exhibitions, as well as the Musée National d'Art Moderne – the national museum for modern art in France. Visiting the Pompidou Centre is free for school groups, and is an excellent option for expanding their knowledge of contemporary art.

Palais Decouverte
With permanent exhibits for mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, geology and biography, the Palais Decouverte covers several scientific curriculum objectives under one roof, and is a must-visit for science-focused school trips to Paris. Students can engage with interactive experiments, visit the circular “pi room” and sit inside a Zeiss planetarium at the museum – all activities we know they’ll love.

The Maison Poincaré Museum
The Maison Poincaré Museum in Paris is the first museum in France entirely dedicated to mathematics and its applications. Located close to the Panthéon and Jardin du Luxembourg, it showcases the life and work of the renowned French mathematician Henri Poincaré and offers a glimpse into Poincaré's groundbreaking contributions to mathematics and theoretical physics.
