Food technology school trips to Marrakech

Our Moroccan culinary adventure invites students to experience food as both craft and culture, from the spice-scented souks of Marrakech to the mountain kitchens of rural Berber villages. Under the guidance of local chefs and home cooks in hands-on cooking classes, school groups will discover the core principles of Moroccan cuisine and in turn develop a deeper understanding of ingredients, sustainability, and the cultural role of food. They’ll learn traditional preparation methods, experiment with seasoning and balance, and discover how geography and climate shape Moroccan cuisine. Visits to markets, cooperatives, and family homes reveal how food connects people and place — from the humble tagine to the precious argan nut.
