Home to more than 100 species of animals living in semi-freedom, the Cabarceno Natural Park offers student groups the opportunity to observe animals such as elephants, gorillas, lions, and tigers in a naturalistic setting. Guernica is a small Basque town rich in historical and cultural significance, being one of the most important sites during the Spanish Civil War. Its most powerful site is the Gernika Peace Museum, which tells the story of the 1937 bombing and explores themes of war, peace, and human rights.
