School ski trips to Mammoth

California’s highest mountain and North America’s third-largest resort, Mammoth lives up to its name with over 150 trails that stay open from November until late May. Enjoying around 300 days of sunshine a year, (yet a heavy and reliable snowfall), there’s scarcely a dull day throughout the season – although your group will want to remember your SPF!

Off the slopes, the lively atmosphere of this authentic American ski town is always popular with students, who can let loose in the evenings with swimming, bowling, shopping or a trip to the cinema.

Features

With a jaw-dropping 3,500 acres of mountain to be explored, skiers of all ability levels are well-catered for at Mammoth, where beginners and improvers can benefit from the resort’s huge range of gentle runs, while intermediates have around 40% of trails and open wide bowls geared up just for them.

Tree-lined trails, fast steeps, wide-open bowls and challenging chutes are all available at Mammoth, as well as 9 terrain parks which help develop riders from beginners through to expert. Advanced skiers have plenty of scope too, and can test their skills on some of the longest and steepest trails in the west.
