Student groups are spoilt for choice at Cannon & Waterville. Whether it’s the scenic runs on New Hampshire’s highest skiable peak at Cannon Mountain, or the top-class ski resort of Waterville Valley – host of 13 World Cup ski events – there’s plenty to help your students feel inspired. But the fun doesn’t stop there. There are also several exciting après options once you’ve left the slopes, from ice hockey matches or a large games arcade, to tax-free shopping at the Mall of New Hampshire.

Features

Beginners will progress quickly on the gentle learning areas of Waterville Valley, while intermediates will enjoy the variety of the ski area’s blue cruisers. There are also several more challenging trails for experts to enjoy, including double black mogul fields such as ‘True Grit’. At Cannon, a 70-person cable car will whisk you to the summit in just eight minutes, where your group can take in some of the best views and terrain in New England.

From here, more than two-thirds of the trails off the summit are smooth, wide, blue runs with stunning views, where intermediates can ski slalom-style through the pines and tree-lined runs. A free ride on the Aerial Tramway is included for pupils who haven’t made it to the summit by the end of the week.
