One of our favourite excursions in Orlando, the Kennedy Space Centre promises to engage your students’ imaginations with a unique opportunity to tour NASA’s launch and landing facilities up close. Dedicated to technological innovation, Epcot is one of the four main Disney parks and is the most educational in the complex, with several different sections centred on different applications of technology and science. We’ve seen students enjoy the park’s World Showcase in particular, which highlights the culture, cuisine, architecture, and traditions of 11 nations.

Immerse yourself in the world of blockbuster movies at Universal Studios, where adrenaline fuelled rides, live shows and attractions bring the world’s most beloved films to life. Students will love the chance to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, travel to another planet with E.T., and zap aliens with the Men In Black.

Located a short drive from Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World®, the Florida Mall is a great excuse for some retail therapy, away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. Students can spend an afternoon or morning browsing through its vast array of retail outlets – from ZARA and H&M, to Sephora and the Apple Store.

An exhilarating experience awaits at the unique waterpark of Blizzard Beach, which has several attractions atop the hill of Mount Gushmore, all based around snowsports. Slalom courses, bobsled and toboggan runs have paved the way for downhill waterslides, while the ski lift carries swimmers instead of skiers. We recommend a ride on Summit Plummet – the tallest, fastest free-fall slide in the world, towering 120 feet above the park.
