Equity school groups will now be booked into the hotel Le Baita, right at the top of the system where the snow is good and the hotel offers ski-in, ski-out convenience. Monte Campione is a pleasant, low rise development with a friendly feel and a magnificent balcony setting. It's completely purpose-built and ultra convenient, but without the usual X certificate architecture. Four mountains connect to provide thrilling journeys mostly on wide runs both above and below the trees. An enthusiastic intermediate can manage almost everything but it's great for beginners too.

Monte Campione is a great choice for school groups. It's safe (gentle slopes and no trees to hit), it's easy to supervise (you can see virtually everything) and the progression is superb. Almost all the slopes are covered by snow cannons.
The slopes are bang outside the Hotel Le Baite so guests can jump on their skis straight away. The hotel is at the top of the resort gallery, at the bottom of a snowsure bowl with lifts and nursery slopes right outside. There is a good variety of beginner and intermediate skiing here and good links to the other four ski areas. These provide interesting ski journeys which are always fun and help learners progress. In fact progression is excellent from novice to middle intermediate. There's also some non-intimidating off-piste which lets you leave the run for a short while and see exactly where you intend to rejoin it. There's nothing too difficult.
The lift capacity and ski area far exceed the resort beds at the moment so there's hardly any queuing and the pistes are rarely crowded. The ski school is good.

French convenience, Italian style. Quiet, good for families, excellent facilities within the development all within a very short walk from the hotel. Please see hotel description for details

HOTEL LE BAITE (cap 450)

This is a large hotel, embedded within a purpose-built gallery of buildings which contains apartments, shops and bars. Everything is conveniently under the same roof. There are 150 smart, modern bedrooms, all with private facilities. It works well for school groups because you have the convenience of a free standing hotel with lounge and public facilities, but immediately adjacent is a wide range of useful facilities.
