Q We are travelling by snowcoach to our resort, which
countries will we travel through ?
A The transit countries do vary, depending on the traffic,
road works and weather. However, wherever you are travelling
to it is most likely that you will stop for a meal in France.
When completing the collective passport application form it
is advisable to include all possible countries in order to avoid
any problems at border controls. We, therefore, recommend that
you include the following; Austria, Belgium, France, Germany,
Italy and Switzerland
Q Can students who are not British nationals travel on
a collective passport ?
A No, they must have their own passports and depending
on their nationality they might need a visa.
Please contact the embassy for the country that you are travelling
to for further details. Austrian Embassy Tel. 0171 235 3731
www.austria.org.uk/embassy.asp
French Consulate Tel. 0171 838 2000 www.ambafrance.org.uk
Italian Consulate Tel. 0171 235 9371 www.ambitalia.org.uk/visainfo.asp
Q Do we need photos for lift passes ?
A They are required in most, but not all resorts. Please
check the relevant page in our brochure or enquire.
Q Can special diets be catered for ?
A You must advise us at least 2 weeks before departure
if anyone has special dietary requirements. Vegetarians can
usually be catered for but please enquire about other diets.
Q What time are ski lessons ?
A This varies from resort to resort. We should be able
to confirm the times before you depart.
Q When will we get our ski equipment ?
A We always endeavour to do the ski fit on the day that
you arrive in resort. However if you get there in the evening
it is more likely to be arranged for your first morning.
Q Will we get a hot or packed lunch ?
A This varies form resort to resort but as a general
rule if the ski area is within walking distance of the hotel
it will be a hot lunch. If you have a preference it is important
to advise us well in advance.
Q What activities are organised for the evenings ?
A Our representative will plan a full programme of entertainment
which vary from bingo in the hotel to ice skating at the local
rink. Obviously, some activities incur a charge, please enquire
for further details.
NB. This does not apply to our "Budget Coach" tours.
Q Where can I get information on the skiing conditions
before we depart ?
A Our resort staff send us snow
reports every Wednesday which we post on this web Site.
Otherwise please call us.
