PORT AVENTURA PARK

Costa Dorada Spain
The name "Golden Coast" says it all - endless stretches of sandy beach bathed in brilliant sunshine with rocky outcrops jutting out into the Mediterranean. Inland, the fertile soil is perfect for wine-production and many local vineyards produce the Spanish sparkling wine "Cava". The region is easily accessible by air and conveniently placed for excursions into this vibrant city.
Salou is located 1½ hours south of Barcelona and minutes from Port Aventura theme park. This buzzing seaside town is an ideal destination for school groups wanting to combine cultural study with leisure. Popular with tourists, Salou offers a wide range of good-quality hotels at reasonable prices and provides a secure environment.
Sample Itinerary - Spain
Day 1
Depart school for your Dover-Calais ferry crossing and travel overnight in your executive coach, entering Spain at La Jonquera.
Day 2
Arrive at your hotel for your evening meal (first meal). Travelling time Calais to resort: 21 hours approx.
Days 3-5
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to drivers' hours regulations.
Day 6
Morning at leisure. Depart after a hot lunch for the overnight journey to Calais.
Day 7
Early morning ferry crossing and continue to school.
Day 1
Fly from London to Barcelona/Reus (flight time 2 hours). Transfer to your hotel for evening meal (first meal). Transfer 1-2 hours.
Days 2-4
At leisure in your resort with choice of excursion programme. Coach not included but full details with prices will be sent at time of enquiry.
Day 5
Transfer from your hotel to Barcelona/Reus airport for return flight to London.
Extra Day
