For school parties there can hardly be a better destination. A lifetime can be spent enjoying Rome's ancient classical glories, Renaissance treasures and ecclesiastical monuments. Rome today is a vibrant, elegant and fascinating city which can be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Visit the Vatican, a 'city state within the city'. Crowned by St Peter's and containing the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican has it's own flag, stamps, mint and judiciary.

You can choose to stay in the city centre or escape to the tranquillity of ancient Ostia, just 45 mins away. The city is a viable option for small groups and our centrally placed hotels mean you can explore Rome on foot, by metro or bus.

Sample Itinerary - Italy

9 days by EXPRESS COACH to Rome
Includes 2 overnight stops in Lido di Jesolo.
Day 1
Depart school for your Dover-Calais ferry crossing and travel overnight in your executive coach.
Day 2
Arrive in Lido di Jesolo for your evening meal (first meal). Travelling time Calais to resort: 18 hours approx.
Day 3
Depart Lido di Jesolo after breakfast with packed lunch. Continue to your hotel in Rome (travelling time 8 hours). Evening meal in a local restaurant.
Days 4-6
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to drivers' hours regulations.
Day 7
After breakfast depart your hotel and travel to Lido di Jesolo arriving for evening meal.
Day 8
Depart Lido di Jesolo after lunch with packed evening meal. Travel overnight to Calais for return journey.
Day 9
Early morning ferry crossing and continue to school.

4 days by AIR to Rome
Day 1
Fly from London to Rome (flight time 2 hours). Transfer to your hotel. Transfer time from the airport - 1 ½ hour approximately. Evening meal (first meal) at a nearby restaurant.
Days 2-3
At leisure in Rome with choice of excursion programme. Coach not included but full details with prices will be sent at time of enquiry.
Day 4
After breakfast (last meal) transfer from your hotel to Rome airport for return flight to London.
Extra Day
Make the most of your visit by adding an extra day. Price available on request.
