Perugia & Assisi Italy
Perugia and Assisi are located in the heart of Italy, mid-way between Florence and Rome. There is a wealth of interesting visits to be made in the region and day trips can be made to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Rome.
Perugia was one of the most powerful cities of the Etruscans. Three kilometres of walls still surround its striking medieval core and Renaissance architecture. Assisi, where St. Francis lived was made a World Heritage site in 2000, and is just 30 minutes away by coach.
Sample Itinerary - Italy
Includes 2 overnight stops in Lido di Jesolo.
Day 1
Depart school for your Dover-Calais ferry crossing and travel overnight in your executive coach.
Day 2
Arrive in Lido di Jesolo for your evening meal (first meal). Travelling time Calais to resort: 18 hours approx.
Day 3
Depart Lido di Jesolo after breakfast with packed lunch. Continue to your hotel in Perugia/Assisi (travelling time 5 hours approx.) for evening meal and accommodation. Day 4-6
Days 4-6
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to drivers' hours regulations.
Day 7
After breakfast depart your hotel and travel to Lido di Jesolo arriving for evening meal.
Day 8
Depart Lido di Jesolo after lunch with packed evening meal. Travel overnight to Calais for return journey.
Day 9
Early morning ferry crossing and continue to school.
Day 1
Fly from London to Bologna (flight time 2 hours). Transfer to your hotel for evening meal and overnight accommodation. Transfer time 3 1/2 hours approx.
Days 2-3
At leisure in your resort with choice of excursion programme. Coach not included but full details with prices will be sent at time of enquiry.
Day 4
After breakfast (last meal) transfer from your hotel to Bologna airport for return flight to London.
