Dutch Coast & Valkenburg Holland
Noordwijk Aan Zee is a delightful resort on the Dutch coast, it is a firm favourite with Equity groups. The resort is located in the heart of the bulbfields, and both Amsterdam and The Hague are only 45 minutes away by coach.
Valkenburg is another great choice for British schools. It has a space centre, a model coal mine, go-karts, adventure playgrounds, boating lake, clock museum, deer park, circus training school and an open air theatre. The town with its safe pedestrianised centre was originally mined by the Romans for its stone and there is a labyrinth of caves to explore. From the ruined castle and Wilhelmina Tower you can see 4 countries and there are brilliant excursions available.
Sample Itinerary - HOLLAND
Day 1
Depart school by coach for late morning Dover-Calais ferry crossing. Continue to hotel for your evening meal. (first meal). Travelling time Calais to resort: 4 hrs Valkenburg, 5 hrs Noordwijk approx.
Days 2-3
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to driver's hours regulations. The Noordwijk tour includes a free canal boat trip with commentary in Amsterdam.
Day 4
Travel to Calais with packed lunches for return journey.

Noordwijk Aan Zee
There is a big, safe beach and every kind of holiday attraction including bowling, play parks, tennis courts, swimming pools, cinemas, mini golf and sports facilities. Shopping and night life are both excellent.
