Strasbourg France
From the Swiss border in the south to the German border in the north, Alsace is cradled by the Vosges mountains and the River Rhine. Right on the border with Germany, Strasbourg is the cultural, intellectual and financial centre of Alsace, a mixture of old and new, a beautiful old city and a thriving university and business centre.
Most of the centre is pedestrianised and there is an excellent tram system. For students of modern history, politics and business studies there is the opportunity to visit three important European institutions, the European Parliament, the Court of Human Rights and the Council of Europe.
Sample Itinerary - FRANCE
Day 1
Depart school by coach for morning Dover-Calais ferry crossing. Continue to hotel for your evening meal (first meal). Travelling time Calais to resort: 9 hours approx.
Day 2-4
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to driver's hours regulations.
Days 5
Travel to Calais with packed lunches for return journey.
Extra Day
