Groups can depart school by standard coach for the early morning Dover-Calais ferry crossing. Arrive in Lille/Arras in the afternoon to explore the Christmas market. Depart for the early evening channel crossing.

Christmas Markets North Europe
Every year during the weeks preceding Christmas, Northern European cities are transformed into a festive paradise. Town centres are brilliantly illuminated and colourful, the bells ring out and the smell of delicious food and drink waft from the stalls. To experience the Christmas markets is to experience the very essence of Christmas itself!
A visit to the Christmas markets is the perfect opportunity for students to practice their languages (French or German) and experience the culture of a foreign destination whilst having fun. The markets run from approximately 24th November (depending on the destination) and throughout December, closing on Christmas Eve. Duration: Tours can be booked lasting from a single day to 5 days.
Sample Itinerary - FRANCE, GERMANY, HOLLAND or CZECH REPUBLIC
Day 1
Depart school by standard coach for the late morning Dover-Calais ferry crossing. Continue to your hotel for your evening meal (first meal). Travelling time from Calais to Lille and Arras is 2 hours, to Valkenburg is 5 hours.
Day 2
Full day to explore Lille/Arras/Valkenburg and the Christmas market.
Day 3
Morning at leisure departing in the afternoon for your early evening channel crossing.
Day 1
Fly London - Berlin/Prague and transfer to your hotel for your evening meal (first meal). Flight time is 2 hours.
Day 2
Full day to explore Berlin/Prague and the Christmas markets.
Day 3
Depart from your hotel for your return flight to London.
