Normandy Music Tours

One of the best loved regions of France, Normandy is lush and well cultivated. The local cuisine is delicious with plenty of reliance on apples, local cider, seafood and the famous Calvados liqueur "Le Trou Normand". There are some tremendous excursions here with particular relevance to English history. Bayeux, Rouen and Mont St Michel are showpieces of French tourism, as are the landing beaches and memorials of the Second World War.

A music tour to this wonderful region, just four hours by coach from Calais is an experience in itself. For groups interested in history, the awesome 12th Century Abbey at Mont St Michel stands alone whilst the Bayeux Tapestry, the Peace Memorial in Caen and the Normandy Beaches soberingly remind us of successful and successive invasions, which took place a millennium apart.
