Head, Sous, Commi Chefs
France and Austria
As a Chef in an Equity hotel, you will provide
full board to school groups and half board to adult groups, catering
for a maximum of 176 clients within strict budgets.
As a Head Chef your main duties will include:
- Providing imaginative, wholesome food within
budget.
- Menu design giving good options to those with
dietary requirements.
- Hygiene, cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
- Strict stock control and ordering.
- Management of your kitchen staff.
As a Sous Chef your main duties will include:
- Assisting the Head Chef with preparation and
cooking of meals.
- Covering for the Head Chef on their day off.
- Covering members of the kitchen team during
absense, days off.
- Assisting the kitchen staff in cleaning.
What we look for in our Chefs:
- Head Chef - must have previous experience
in running a kitchen and managing a team.
- Catering qualifications prefered but not essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team in the kitchen
and hotel.
- Knowledge of French or German is an advantage
but not essential
